This is also why client replays are near useless for telling what actually went on, your client doesn’t actually know what every member of the opposing team is doing at all times so can’t record what it doesn’t know As you have observed yourself this can get very flaky at times and the server clearly couldn’t decide whether you could see that prinz eugen or not The invisibility is a result of the system trying to prevent people seeing the whole enemy team at all times through terrain etc, so the server only provides your client information on players it thinks you can actually see. Invisible vehicles counter intuitively are actually anti cheat in action, because of the aforementioned net code about the only cheats that work in warthunder are aimbots and esp using information already on the client that the player shouldn’t have access to in normal gameplay. That’s not to say that it is completely impossible per se, just that the level of real time access to the server required to pull off that kind of cheat means the hacker would effectively have admin access to gaijins servers and be modifying the code there, not on their client… I’ve never heard a realistic claim this has ever happened. All your control inputs are sent to the server which plays out its own version of events, you could modify a client to do whatever you want and if it disagrees with what the server thinks is going on it’s not going to pass that on to other players, it just rubber bands the client that disagrees back. Let's see how long until the thread get's deleted, because THERE ARE NO CHEATS IN WT XDĪs has been explained countless times on these forums, scripts to make your vehicle invisible, invincible, faster, shoot through terrain, cause more damage etc are not possible client side with warthunders net code, or more specifically they won’t do jack. but until then nothing worked, no ap, no he and no he-vt nor any aa-gunfire when it started dropping torps, it instantly was annihilated as 4 ships were continously fireing at and through it. Some days ago I had a coastal ship of sorts that had no hitbox until it arrived in between our ships. and no, it didn't disappear behind an island or rock, it sat right in the open sea about 6 km away like nothing > fires and is visible for a fracture of a second > invisible again. Second I encountered a prinz_eugen today that, whenever it did not fire, became invisible. It existed before but it seems to have become more of them with the wave of de_moines coming in through the latest sale. Old one first: shooting one turret/barrel at a time instead of salvos, which creates a continous stream of shells that is way easier to aim and dooms the target as repairs will never finish In doubt, I recommend you to apply even more scrupulously the elementary rules: unique email address and password for War Thunder, used nowhere else, and assume bad faith.I've seen some new things lately and wanted to ask if I'm going crazy or if someone has seen things like that as well. My confidence in Gaijin was already not phenomenal, but here I must admit that it is totally gone now. So he did create an account and play War Thunder. But I recently invited and proposed my 11yo nephew to play War Thunder, since I had just offered him a brand new gaming computer one month ago. Originally posted by suppositoire:I've never been. This obviously does not apply only for War Thunder! In doubt, I recommend you to apply even more scrupulously the elementary rules: unique email address and password for War Thunder, used nowhere else, and assume bad faith. But while I am not accusing anyone here, I find this at least highly suspect, and it's really little to say! He made a youthful mistake that I had to correct so that everything was back in order and that he regains access to his accounts. The fact is he used the same password for War Thunder than we had set for his GMail account (a hardened password, not a simple guessing one), and he also used the same email and password he used for GMail/War Thunder than he used for his EpicGames account. Neither he shared his account nor play it anywhere than home. His computer was well protected, I ensured it when I built it, and all the scans and checks I made shown it has not been compromised. Just a few days later, his GMail account that he used for War Thunder was hacked, and also his EpicGames account.
